ANOTHER entry for 's genderbent contest. I actually did this to get a clearer picture on what my OC Rocko might look like as a mare. Because I have a feeling this is not the last we have seen of her lol X)

Surprisingly, I had a hard time trying to get the shape of her bangs just right. It doesn't poof out or anything like Octavia's but I didn't want it looking flat either. Can't even begin to tell how many times I had to undo that part on MS Paint >~<

Cool thing about this though is that is gives me a clearer idea on what Rocko's, and now Gemstone's, cutie mark should be. I didn't want to have two different types of cutie marks to work with. Too much hassle. Even though Rocko received his cutie mark by digging like a freaking maniac around Ponyville, he also finds gemstones and other precious stones. Although he doesn't use them like Rarity does, who uses it for her clothing and whatnot, Rocko likes to sell them off to other ponies as a side hobby. Even makes them into small, simple accessories sometimes if he feels like it. Sooo!! I redid the cutie mark. Instead of it looking like a grey blob with a black squiggle going through it (although it pains me greatly that I couldn't find a good legit reason to use that seismic line for Rocko), it now looks like a gemstone with some rock/pebbles by it. Hence, Rocko's female version's name is Gemstone. It is the best I could come up with really. But the huge difference in the name not only connects, but keeps them independent from one another too in my opinion. Rocko is till Rocko to me no matter how many people like the mare version more. I would actually like to keep Gemstone as a separate thing from Rocko while still keeping her and Rocko the same pony........does that even make any sense??

Don't ask me about the ribbon. I needed something green and I wasn't liking the vest idea for this picture surprisingly. I think this version likes ribbons more than vests lol
