Genderbent Alicorns!

First entry for 's contest that she has going on. Rule is that is has to be a genderbent version of our OC pony. And bonus points if you do a picture of them with their love interest. So in this case, since Aerodil and I have agreed to pair up our OCs, the white stallion is a male version of Ayuna, her OC aerodil.deviantart.com/art/Hap…

This was tricky for me since I have never done a female PONY version of my OC Rocko. He doesn't have a long mane, so I had to keep the female's version short. I had a hard time trying to find a style and I didn't want to resort to copying any actual character's mane style from the show. Finally I figured it lol THEN I wondered about the cutie mark. "Rocko" is an alicorn princess so to speak, and I highly doubt s/he become one by digging their whole life lol So I left out the cutie mark. My next problem was adding the green vest to her. Rocko is known not only for being a digging addict, but also for his green vest. After a while, the vest wasn't working do I had to go a different route. "Rocko" is a princess so I decided to go for a shirt like top with a brown vest of sorts to go over it. I am pleased with the results so I left it alone! Lets see...the accessories were easy, no problems there!

For Aerodil's character, that was trouble as well lol Ayuna, her OC, has long hair, but I didn't really like the idea of the male version having long mane so I tried to find a suitable, short mane style. Sadly, I couldn't really come up with one with its own original style so I copied Doctor Whooves mane style >~< I love it though! I just wish I was more creative lol  Now that "Ayuna" is an alicorn prince/warrior I had to give it some kind of armor. The style is somewhat based off of the Royal Guard's style but with some differences of course. Now I had to find the right color. Couldn't do silver, would have blended right in with the coat. And Aerodil's character isn't exactly made to be suited with a wide range of colors. So green was the best result!! Where the star on the Royal Guard's chest plate is, I made a circle instead to give a more....creative touch lol And made it yellow to give more color to "Ayuna" as well lol

Overall, as the ideas were slowing coming together, it worked out in the end
